So, I attempted welding a hoop skirt purely from my own lack of experience. Needless to say, it didn’t turn out well. Boning the corset was significantly easier. The man I’m working with on sewing the designs had a clever idea instead of welding, and more looping iron wires around each rod to hold it together. The only problem is the front of the skirt will be displayed as the skirt itself. So, looks like I’m going to need to figure out how to weld.
